The Ice House Student Success Program

Engage in Your Academic Pursuits and Design Your Vision for the Future!

Many High School and College students today are pursuing their educations without a clear picture of what those educations can help produce for them in the future. This disconnect between a compelling goal for their future and the various requirements of any student in a formal learning environment can lead to disengagement and a lack of motivation for students.

In order to succeed in these academic settings it is critical that students connect their own interests and abilities with the needs of others to determine problems that they would like to solve through their future endeavors. And they must consider, what do they need to learn to help solve those problems?

The Ice House Student Success Program begins this process for students, and provides them not just written guidance on how to proceed, but compelling insights from video interviews of those who have risen above their circumstances to create positive change in our world.

In this self-paced program students will learn the details behind the eight fundamental concepts of entrepreneurial thought and process drawn from the companion text, Who Owns the Ice House? Eight Life Lessons from an Unlikely Entrepreneur.

Based on over a decade of research, each lesson contains written content around critical student success concepts and video case studies featuring a variety of real-world, “unlikely” entrepreneurs who have embraced the core concepts of an entrepreneurial mindset.

Students will also experience the Ice House Opportunity Discovery Process, allowing them to identify and analyze a problem, find solutions, and make the connections required to bring their solution to life.
